The current social climate makes starting a DEI-related consultancy as bold as it is important. For Christopher, bold is in his DNA.
As the previous Global Head of Belonging for Krispy Kreme and with a long list of professional accomplishments in the space, Christopher Bylone knows how to make sure everyone at an organization knows they belong without any question.
The challenge was to build a brand identity that is bold, inclusive, and deeply human, that makes leaders feel both safe and called to action, with a light sprinkle of data-informed process on top.
Before creativity, we plan.
To kick off this project, a deep process of strategic alignment defined brand personality, unpacked the competitive landscape, identified influences, and much more. This ensures the solutions are based in objective truths rather than subjective preferences.
It all coalesces into a Brand Brief, a single-page alignment tool, which guided every step of the process to keep us all aligned.

Bold but not brash, curious but never careless, and driven to create change.
An icon that represents the spark of change, the humans it touches, and the safety required to do it with real impact.
The hand/spark suggests transformation, humanity, and action, while the curved base offers grounding that is balanced, fair, and intentional.
The entire symbol is built using the letters I and U for a layered and story-driven solution that is distinct and meaningful.
The formula was prepared in full color as well as more limited color setups, as shown in the image above.
Used within the formula, supplemental math symbols were designed using stylistic cues established in the logo.
These shapes enable a powerful way to emphasize math & data in a way that feels cohesive with the brand personality.
As an extension of the core brand, the podcast received its own logo along with episode templates to ensure a cohesive launch.
A foundational powerpoint template included a range of layouts for effective and on-brand presentations, along with a 52-page brand style guide informs each step forward.
Results
Armed with a plethora of tools, Christopher is prepared for bold action with the confidence of an entirely authentic brand.
Things are just getting started for Innovation Unbiased. With the first season of the podcast set to launch and an impressive spread of opportunities shaping up, there's no stopping this powerful force from making impact in the corporate world.
